Hi my name is Robert, I am 63 years young and am Married with grown up children. I have two soppy dogs, 3 cats and an aviary full of various birds, as you can tell I am an animal lover. I also do RSPCA voluntary work in my spare time.
I gave up my career in 2014 to care for my Mother who had Alzheimer's, I think this was one of the most rewarding times of my life knowing that I was caring for my Mum keeping her safe and well for as long as I could. During this time I went on numerous Dementia themed training courses to improve my knowledge to give mum the best care possible. Following my Mums passing I then went on to Care for my Father who was in his 90's where his frailty meant he had to come and live with us. Sadly Dad passed away not that long ago but will always treasure the time we spent together going out on daytrips and all the fun we had.
This chapter of my life has led me to want to continue in the care profession and help other individuals when in need and put my skills to good use.
I am part of a Dementia help group and thoroughly enjoy this.
Although I am very experienced in Dementia I also have experience with Elderly, Disabled and individuals with Specials Needs.
I am available to assist with appointments, shopping, companionship and most other aspects of care .
Feel free to view my profile and I look forward to meeting you.
